Enjoying the giddy excitement when Daddy comes home from work. Brian usually gets down on the floor to play with her before he even takes his shoes off. She often wants him to chase her – she makes a coy come get me face. Last night she was especially excited because Brian had been away for a few days. He showed her the funny bonking noise that the measuring cup made when he hit it on his head. Then he was surprised that she wanted to bonk him on the head over and over.
Enjoying summer outfits and seeing lots of soft pudgy skin.
Enjoying our patio and the nice weather. It’s almost better than a backyard at this point because she is nicely contained. I fill a galvanized bucket with a few inches of water and she is entertained for a long time.
Bea’s enjoying multiples of anything. She loves to play with a bunch of rocks on the patio, a bunch of spice jars from the kitchen, or this bunch of milk top thingys that I’ve been collecting. She transfers them from one container to another. It’s almost obsessive behavior.
