Bea overcame her timid tendencies today. We spent the day at the Lincoln Park Zoo. She rode the kiddie train all by herself. She climbed in this big net and ladder thingy that was crawling with big kids. And she rode the carousel. She looks like she’s not having fun in the last picture but she was. She was just very serious and busy taking it all in. It takes a lot for her to step out and do stuff like that without holding my hand. It was a good day.
