We spent some time getting the baby area ship shape this morning. It made me think of the excitement and fun I had when I set up Bea’s crib too.
Bea’s spot three years ago:

And now I get to do it again. Here’s the new baby spot:

Still needs a little work. I basically only took care of the fun stuff. I might put up those black and white pictures that were above Bea’s bed. And I’m expecting a new little quilt from Grandma C. (am I right?). The piggy was a little indulgence from Three Potato Four.
I made the cloud with raindrops this morning. It’s made from leftover pieces of styrofoam – more packaging from our IKEA stuff. I cut out paper raindrops and sewed them together on the sewing machine. Cutting styrofoam like this is very very messy. It looked like it had snowed when I was done. The finished cloud is of course very light so I didn’t have to make any holes in the wall to hang it. We are wary of putting tons of holes in the walls because we will just have to fill and paint in 3 short years when we move out.
