My kitchen cabinets have been ordered and I’m feeling excitedly nervous about the project. They should be delivered at the beginning of August. It’s the biggest thing I’ve done – so many decisions. Will it look OK and more importantly will it all make a functional room? This morning I got a cabinet door sample with my custom color. So now I can put my wall colors, countertop, floor and knobs all together and I have a better idea of how things will look. Before I know it I will be taking everything out of my kitchen and getting it ready for construction. That will be a job!

The cabinets below are painted in the same color that I have chosen and I will have a black countertop with no backsplash. So it will be very similar to this photo.
