I found a great brocki and got some awesome treasures yesterday. A brocki is like a Goodwill store. You can find antique type items and newer items but it’s all used stuff. I think I’m becoming a connoisseur of brocki around Lake Zurich. I’m still trying to get our house set up so it functions – I needed some lamps, small tables and other stuff. I also just love to go to a good brocki because I find treasures that I can’t live without. And usually I don’t have to spend much. It’s all about the thrill of the hunt and then getting the things home and fitting them in to our space. So fun!

Here’s what I got:

Some fabric, two lamps, a handmade little stool/side table and some posters. I can’t wait to pretend I’m a stylist and show you my rooms all put together… but first I should wash a sink full of dishes.
