Hope you have a juicy jolly Christmas!

On the airplane Claire sat next to a Russian grandma who didn’t speak english. Claire was entertained by her sweet Russian banter for a good part of our flight.

Dad had the happiest look on his face when Bea skied around the backyard three times. It was like she’s been doing if for years.

Feeling like we are all in rough shape – after recovering from our jetlag Bea had a fever on and off for three days and now Claire is taking her turn. Brian has a cold and I just want a nap.

Brian’s flight was canceled because of all the snow in Frankfurt. He sat on the plane for seven hours before it even took off. Then his baggage was lost – we’re hoping the Christmas gifts inside make it here in time.

We’re being spoiled with cookies and chocolates and candies. And enjoying cheap steaks and Taco Bell, abundant brown sugar, graham crackers and candy canes.
